Inspiration
What it does
uses claude + langchain to create an agent that can do research (ex: summarize research papers, implement research code) and learns new research skills and saves it in a skills database.
How we built it
React for the frontend, Claude+langchain for the backend, reimplmented voyager but made the base skills langchain tools.
Challenges we ran into
CORS error making the app not work, voyager implementation being messy for a web environment, figuring out how to run skills correctly
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Implementing a novel research paper in a short amount of time to moderate success.
What we learned
Learned a lot about langchain! Really love how the library has evolved. Also claude prompting.
