Inspiration
Inspired by our friend who struggled to get a job
What it does
The website allows users to prepare for job interviews by simulating real-life interviews with the help of an assistant interview (ai)
How we built it
we built it with react, nextjs, tailwindcss, typescript, making a responsive and interactive UI. 3D effects were added with the help of three.js. Then, firebase was used for the backend, developing personalised user-experiences for each of our users. Finally, gemini ai and vapi helped us create key features, delivering a more complete and realistic interview experience for users.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into difficulty making the cv scanning feature with our app and the coordination of backend and frontend. However, with collaborative and proactive teamwork we were able to debug and leverage our previous skills to create a response and full stack website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
we are proud of the originality and the practicality of our project. It is very interactive and provides a user friendly ui
What we learned
we learned that collaborating on a coding project is not as easy as it seems, and a project of such scale requires concentration, perseverance and determination. Coordination by leveraging Github and Git especially helped us develop our developer skills
What's next for voxa
The future of voxa is limitless. We plan to add another feature where web scraping would display the best recent job posts for users.
