Inspiration

We wanted to talk and sound like Morgan Freeman and other public figures.

I wrote a C scripts to take in Nick's phoneme data and output the appropriate .wav files as a constant stream. I also produced the target datasets by researching audio protocols and signal processing.

I wrote the Phoneme Extraction Utility (to create vocal models) and conducted extensive phoneme processing research. I also proposed/planned the initial high-level design.

Nicholas Boucher
The guy.
I implemented the spectral smoothing algorithm for synthesis of concatenated speech, using cubic spline interpolation, locally between speech segments (phonemes).
