Inspiration

I believe it could be valuable to trigger actions based on a piece of legislation and it's progress.

What it does

Oracle that provides access to public USA legislation activity. The goal is to provide data on a bill's lifecycle to include introduction, amendments, voting sessions, and resolution.

How we built it

Leverage Chainlink external API usage, and third-party API endpoints for legislation data.

Challenges we ran into

Building the external API job and subscribing a local Chainlink node to the job.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building a Chainlink node and rough start to the smart contract.

What we learned

Still plenty to work on and scoping the project needs work.
