Inspiration

We wanted to create something that could help with civic engagement in a simple, non-confusing format.

What it does

This survey will ask for some basic information like your age and where you live, and then it will tell you if you're eligible to vote and how to vote in the specified state.

How we built it

We started with planning out the different themes and steps we wanted to take, then translated it into pycharm. Using pycharm, tkinter, and the turtle feature, we were able to create the survey.

Challenges we ran into

Neither of us had used tkinter before this event, so we had to do some research on the spot in order to code this project, but once we had a basic understanding, we were able to start the project right away.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Both of us are proud of ourselves for using new applications and understanding how to use them so quickly.

What we learned

We learned how to use new applications, how to find reliable sources about the functions of said new applications, and how to efficiently manage our time.

What's next for voting_survey_24

We hope to keep adding to this survey to make it more aesthetically pleasing as well as more informative, maybe we'll be able to collect data and create a report through voting_survey_24.
