Voting System

Inspiration

Voting Manually is not ideal as it can be time-consuming.

What it does

Let people vote online as well as apply for positions online

How I built it

I used SolidJS and Express with MongoDB as a database

Challenges I ran into

Storing the photos of the users as I was using a free plan for hosting the backend API on render so it was slow in production as they give a minimal CPU

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

What I learned

Everything is possible until someone does it. You just need an idea and start working on it; consistency is key to finishing project ideas.

What's next for Voting System

Make it a single board that will allow a lot of college organizations to do their elections on a single board but under different institutions and make it more secure. Be able to import data from other sources like Excel of the institutions members
