Voting Google Bot

Inspiration

Was inspired by one of the hackathon events where we got to see some simple bot following on Instagram.

What it does

gets on a google form sheet, picks a possible choice, and votes like there's no tomorrow.

How I built it

Using the tools from the Python Web Automation with Selenium I was able to use this to rock the vote for a later event the "Netflix Party" (note I did tell them about the project and ran it after the initial movie selection).

Challenges I ran into

trying to run it on my machine, didn't have python set up on it so had to settle with an online compiler

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

that I got it to work.

What I learned

how to access different parts of a website through inspection, how to manipulate this information in a python program, and how to really have some fun.

What's next for Voting Google Bot

next is to get any choice that i can get and say it's the people's decision.
