Inspiration

Web3 blockchain ,crypto has always been very complex for me but as i attended the MLH workshops i was motivated to give a try and discover something new.

What it does

it is a beginner voting app which shows the voting done for each account(person) done using blockhain transaction.

How we built it

Going through documentations ,understanding what each function does introduction to blockchain ,smart contracts and with help of answers given by mlh coaches during workshop i was able to put together a basic voting dapp using ganache,metamask, solidity, ETH .

Challenges we ran into

The tutorials ,videos where never exact a lot of versioning problems , scared due to transaction (requires gas), metamask refusing insecure networks, understanding how thinks work in background i found my way .

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Although i am aware of app not being so usefull i am happy i now have more knowledge and little more experience about a field i was never willing to try.

What we learned

1)If you give it your fair share of trials you can do anything 2) keep security constraints and testing checked to know your vulnerabilities. 3)There will always be alternatives you just need to search.

What's next for Voting Dapp

i would love to include more information about account owners time,give UI an update and understand the transactions done on blockchain better now that i know there are dev resources and testnets, faucets that provide free access for exploring.
