Inspiration

We wanted to build an app that would reach a large group of people in a meaningful and impactful way.

What it does

An organization or individual would create an account and post any volunteer opportunities that target people near them.

Individuals who want to participate can click on opportunities and look for a project near them to help out.

Challenges we ran into

Merge conflicts on Github and each member had different methodologies and programming styles

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Collaborated on project despite different timezones and methods. We all communicated with each other and talked about ideas and solutions.

What we learned

Shaving yaks takes a long time!

What's next for Voluntier

Add more styling (stick to one styling library) and to full CRUD functionality
