Inspiration As college students, we are always looking to serve the community through volunteering. We believed this would be a good idea to implement for the J.P Morgan and Chase challenge, "Best Hack for Social Good".

What it does: Our project helps users to select and find what type of volunteering they want, the modality they are comfortable with (online or in person), and which city they are looking for opportunities in.

How we built it: We used python language to implement our ideas and used if, else if statements to create the different combinations of user options.

Challenges we ran into: We found it slightly challenging as this was our first time coding with python, but we were able learn the code and develop our program.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud to have been able to complete this challenge in a language that we have never coded in before. There is no better feeling than knowing we have implemented our ideas to benefit the community around us.

What we learned: We learned basic Python

What's next for Volunteering Opportunities in Texas: We hope to apply and expand our program to be able to search the internet for volunteer opportunities and make it easier for citizens to find opportunities to contribute to their communities.
