Inspiration

Simplicity and Usability. We wanted to find a use for the Flic button that would be useable, and having a simple button that controls the volume exactly how you want. As well as being a remote from your phone.

What it does

One click for silence, two for vibrate, and hold for sound. You can use Flic as a remote for wireless phone control, as well as soon to be myo support for wireless phone control.

How we built it

Android Studio to use flic with phone.

Challenges we ran into

Flic button needing helper app to connect.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Made a clean optimized, working app that would actually be useful.

What we learned

API Implementation. We added myo support to control your phone that didn't make it into the final product. Learned about hardware implementation and greatly advanced our Android Studio usability.

What's next for Volume Button

Fully implement myo support.
