Inspiration

Our inspiration for Volt Track came from the increasing global concern for energy conservation. We wanted to provide a tool that empowers individuals to understand and manage their energy consumption, promoting a more sustainable lifestyle.

What it does

Volt Track is an algorithm based tool that performs like AI that allows users to input their daily power consumption, record the usage of any noticeable gadgets, and gain a comprehensive understanding of their energy usage. It generates probable causes of any unusual energy usage, predicts next day's power consumption, and guides users on how to achieve their energy-saving goals. Users can also set their own power consumption goals and track their progress.

How we built it

The prototype of VoltTrack is made on Figma and the front end was made in React with help of Tailwind CSS and Flowbites.

Challenges we ran into

Since it is my first time in Devpost hackathon and also I am participating solo I have to build and design it from very scratch level which is very hard for beginner like me.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am really proud of my prototype and the basic front end of the website that I was able to build in 24 hour.

What I learned

I need to learn new skills specially the backend, which I can't able to build during the hackathon.

What's next for VOLT TRACK

In future I will try to integrate AI chat bot with help of OpenAi api.
