Features

• Let certified organizations add events to the map and let everyone know
• Supported by MongoDB Stitch backend so it's always synced
• Quick zoom to your current location
• Ability to add event from current and selected location
• Google Maps Integration for direction (Long press address)

• Mapbox map and its Annotation Plugin for display
• android-floating-action-button library by Jerzy Chalupski.
• MongoDB Database for Realtime Database and Authentication

Future Plans

• Polish UX/UI
• Third party auth
• Auto search web for events and add them to server periodically
• filter events by start and stop time

Challenges we ran into

• Using the MongoDB stitch web interface
• Authenticating anonymous users and setup permissions for event organizers

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Learned to use MongoDB to handle data and authentication
• Stayed up 24 hours~
