The inspiration for Volby came from a Web3 like platform for content creators , a decentralized alternative to Web2 platforms like YouTube and TikTok—where high platform fees, demonetization, and lack of content ownership limit creator earnings. I wanted to build a decentralized alternative that gives creators full control over their monetization while enabling real-time audience engagement with AI-powered chat and video interactions.
By leveraging Electroneum’s ultra-fast, low-cost blockchain, I saw an opportunity to create a frictionless Web3 video economy where creators earn instantly, viewers engage meaningfully, and brands connect transparently—without centralized gatekeepers.
