Inspiration

We wanted to make AI more human and accessible. Instead of a chatbot that only answers questions, we envisioned an AI companion with lifelike 3D avatars that can assist, guide, and interact naturally in everyday life.

What it does

VOKA is an AI-powered second brain that helps users learn, stay organized, access information, and receive personalized assistance through natural conversations with interactive 3D avatars.

How we built it

We built VOKA using Unreal Engine, MetaHuman technology, AI language models, speech processing, and a custom backend to enable real-time conversations and avatar interactions.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenges were synchronizing avatar animations with AI responses, reducing latency, and creating natural, engaging interactions that feel human-like.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully created a working AI companion experience that combines conversational AI with realistic 3D avatars, making interactions more immersive and engaging.

What we learned

We learned about AI integration, real-time avatar systems, speech technologies, user experience design, and the importance of building human-centered technology.

What's next for VOKA

We plan to add better memory, emotional intelligence, multi-device support, and more personalized features to make VOKA a truly intelligent everyday companion.
