How we built it

iOS app written in SwiftUI for smooth UX
Speech recognition + AI models for transcription, summarization, and translation

Challenges we ran into

Making transcription fast and accurate across different accents
Balancing simplicity with powerful AI features (without overwhelming the user)
Optimizing for long recordings like lectures or meetings without lag

Built full localization in 15 languages (thanks to our small but mighty team effort)

What we learned

Simplicity wins: users want to record → see text instantly, everything else is secondary
Localization matters — our downloads jumped after translating app + metadata + screenshots
Indie building is a marathon: ship, learn, iterate
