Have you ever wanted to make art but you were too lazy to use your hands? What if you didn't need to use your hands to draw? With VoiceArt, you can realize this dream and draw using your voice!

Inspiration

We wanted to figure out a way to create art without using our hands!

What it does

VoiceArt allows you to create abstract art through an entirely hands-free experience. Using your voice, you can control the brush colour, stroke size, and opacity of your paint brush! The program randomly moves across the canvas and you can tell it to pause and resume the paint brush at any time.

How we built it

As a team of four, we split up into two groups focused on the frontend and the backend respectively. The initiative used HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

What's next for VoiceArt

Next, we would love to implement an eye tracking feature where the user can control the path of the paintbrush using their eyes to draw! This would be a true hands free experience to creating art!
