Our Story So Far

The Problem: Many small businesses lose customers because they can’t answer every call. Hiring staff or using call centers is expensive. Existing AI tools are built for large enterprises—not SMBs.

The Idea: We set out to build a reliable, affordable AI voice assistant that’s easy to use and works out of the box. Our goal was to create something that understands customer needs, speaks clearly, and helps business owners stay connected—without adding to their workload.

The Tools We're Using: Here’s a peek under the hood:

  • Frontend: Built with Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS for a sleek and responsive dashboard.
  • Backend: FastAPI (Python) handles the voice logic and prompt routing.
  • Voice & Intelligence: Twilio provides phone call infrastructure, OpenAI’s GPT-4o powers real-time understanding, and ElevenLabs makes the voice feel human.
  • Database & Embeddings: Supabase manages auth, storage, and our vector database, while LangChain enables document-based Q&A through file uploads and URL ingestion.

A Quick Note on the Journey: We’ve spent the last few weeks building a working MVP. Along the way, we tackled tricky backend bugs, vector store integration, and real-time audio streaming—all while staying lean. Now we have a product that not only works but can scale across industries.
