Inspiration : Effective use of, technology to identify if a person is attacked by Corona and save lives. Objective is to provide the simple, cost effective and the best possible solution to the patient.This can also reduce the burden on medical systems and doctors. As more data will be available, results from ML can be analysed more precisely.

From business point of view, this is a very good opportunity if appropriate business models will be applied and access to funds is possible.

What it does : Voice Litmus projects aims to evaluate the breathing/sound pattern and reports if person is affected by Corona. This is a simple 5 step process,

1) Patient or any person can make a phone call to 'Voice Litmus'. 2) 'Voice Litmus' instruct affected person about holding position of the phone. 3) 'Voice Litmus' records the sound of coughing and breathing pattern in the cloud. 4) 'Voice Litmus' perform the litmus test with available datasets and provides the results. 5) Patient receives information from 'Voice Litmus' whether he is safe or next steps. Patient can perform this test again and again, everyday and whenever he/she find it necessary without affecting health of others and front-line medical force

How I built it : I built it as a cloud solution on Amazon Connect. However it is just a beginning of the complete solution. Phone number for patients to conduct self Litmus tests is created as 0049 69 50070562, but not yet functional.

Challenges I ran into : Availability of bench mark data, shortage of voice AI expertise. AI development consumes a lots selected resources, so only a place holder prototype could be worked out during this weekend.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of : Clear objectives are brainstormed, framework and overall solution approach is analysed and frozen. Contact phone number made available for patients , 0049 69 50070562, but not yet functional.

What I learned : Evaluation of existing technology or the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) levels of the components to be used in the system.

What's next for Voice Litmus:

Seek the access to the funds, to realize the project on bigger scale, and improve the precision and scope.
Work together with vendors to release and exploit this facility as soon as possible.
Enable and empower every person to perform self test by making 'Voice Litmus' as a reliable test..
Continued study of early Virus detection possibilities using newly identified information as resource and integrating in the project.

The problem your project solves : Ease of test, Quick Results, Safe medical Staff, Low cost, No Extra resources for travel to doctor like Time,Money, Efforts of a sick person is saved. And therefore reducing many associated risks to and from patient. Patients can take this test, as many times as they wish even after recovery, This can flatten the curve of second wave and control the situation.

The solution you bring to the table (including technical details, architecture, tools used): Proposed architecture is based on AWS Connect and Lambda and other services (or may be similar cloud hosting partner if any limitations). As this solution is very complex on server side, currently solution outline is brought to the table.

What you have done during the weekend : Worked out suitable tools and grasp of TRL for current technologies with outline solution.

The solution’s impact to the crisis : This solution has potential of making huge impact and may help in saving a lots of infections and spreads. Also many people do not want to or can not visit due to old age or similar reasons. It can help them.

The necessities in order to continue the project: Sufficient funds as project has many challenges to deal with.

The value of your solution(s) after the crisis : After covid-19 crisis, know-how aquired will become most valued asset as it can be used to work with other untapped domains, using new business models.
