Ability to use voice control in order to simplify tasks in business and life
What it does
Gets the data from Nessie API, processes it and display on the dashboard. Modifications to data are being applied based on voice commands, which are captured by Amazon Alexa.
How we built it
Divided project into 3 parts: 1) Developed front-end which displays processed data using technologies like Js, AngularJs, d3,, html5, css3.. 2) Developed back-end which processes data and connects AWS lambda to front-end using technologies like Spring, Java 3) Developed AWS lambda code using Nodejs, which controls Amazon Alexa.
Challenges we ran into
Malformed data, voice recognition with flaws, connection issues to AWS
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Connects everything fine into 1 system and accepts simple data modification voice commands.
What we learned
Got more experience in toolsets we have used, got first experience in using voice control devie.
