VoiceCapsule.com is a virtual interactive communication tool used with all Alexa devices.  VoiceCapsule.com is designed for individuals to post audio and video recordings that they can share w/ friends, family or associates.  By combining VoiceCapsule.com with the Alexa Skill Voice Capsule, users can now have virtual interactive conversations with the recordings.

Alexa Skill Voice Capsule Features are:

  1. Alexa Skill Voice Capsule works on All Amazon Echo Alexa devices!  Audio will play on Amazon Video Devices and the Audio from Video recordings will play on Amazon Audio only Devices.  Record once, play back on all Amazon Echo Alexa devices.
    1. If on Amazon Show or Spot - if there is a video it will play the video, if there is not a video recording, it will then play only audio.  
    2. If on Amazon Echo, Dot, or Tap - if there a video recording, Voice Capsule will play the audio from a video recording.

    3. Specific person is the only person the StoryTeller invites to hear their recording.  
  4. To use the Amazon Alexa Skill Voice Capsule
    1. Ask Alexa to open Voice Capsule and to speak to a specific person
      Example:  “Alexa tell Voice Capsule that I want to talk to Jim Wyatt”  
    2. Then begin asking questions.  
      Example:   “What is your favorite book?”  

The Voice Capsule concept has been in the making for over 20 years.  Have you ever wanted to talk to someone and you know they are not available?  The original concept was to have family and friends record their life stories.  But, we needed to find an easy way to share those stories today and with future generations.  With the Amazon Echo devices Alexa provides an avenue for those stories to be shared.    

But as we began programming, we realized Voice Capsule can provide so much more.  Every user can transform Voice Capsule into what would be most beneficial to them and whomever they share their recordings with.

  1. Virtual bedtime story reader.  Even though you are on a business trip, your child can ask the Alexa Skill Voice Capsule to have you virtually read their favorite story.

The StoryTeller (VoiceCapsule.com Account Owner who makes recordings):

  1. The StoryTeller must have a VoiceCapsule.com active account  
  2. The StoryTeller must post audio or video recordings to VoiceCapsule.com and declare whether the recording would be private or shared with their selected contacts
  3. The StoryTeller requests VoiceCapsule.com to send an invite to their contact to go listen to their Alexa Skill Voice Capsule recording


The Listener (Alexa User):

  1. The Listener must have a VoiceCapsule.com active account
  2. The Listener must add the Voice Capsule skill to their Alexa account
  3. The Listener must link the Alexa Voice Capsule skill to their VoiceCapsule.com account
  4. The Listener tells Alexa to Open Voice Capsule and which Storyteller they want to talk to (You can listen to your own recordings or only those recordings after receiving an invite from another Storyteller)


How to Test the Alexa Skill Voice Capsule:

  1. Set up an account with www.VoiceCapsule.com
  2. Set up an account with Alexa and link it to your VoiceCapsule.com account.  
  3. Jim Wyatt is a test StoryTeller
  4. Questions should be centered around Who, What, When, Where, How and Why.
  5. Have fun asking questions and having a virtual conversation with Jim Wyatt.

To Begin Testing:

  1. Ask Alexa to Open Voice Capsule
  2. Ask to talk to Jim Wyatt
