We are team of engineering grad students who started our own AI Dev Agency, we were facing a challenge: How do we provide immense value even before our pitch?

What if we could show them our product in action instead of just speaking words?

After pitching to lot of business owners and facing rejections, we realized that showing beats telling.

The core problem we identified was the low conversion rates in most websites. Visitors would land on business websites but couldn't understand what the company actually offered, what services were available, or how products could solve their specific problems.

This confusion led to high bounce rates and lost sales opportunities.

We discovered that websites needed a way to guide visitors toward optimal purchasing decisions in real-time.

This insight led us to create VoiceBolt - a voice AI sales consultant that acts as a 24/7 sales representative, turning every website visit into a potential sale.

What it does

VoiceBolt is an AI-powered voice assistant that transforms how businesses engage with their website visitors. Our solution:

How we built it

  1. Fast Prototyping: We started with Bolt to create initial prototypes and validate our concept quickly.
  2. Production Development: Transitioned to Cursor for finalizing the application architecture
  3. Backend Implementation: Set up backend infrastructure using Supabase
  4. AI Integration: Implemented Firecrawl for deep website knowledge extraction
  5. Voice AI: Integrated ElevenLabs for advanced voice agent capabilities

Challenges we ran into

Real-time Website Integration

The biggest technical challenge was implementing real-time visualization of our product directly on client websites instantly. We needed to demonstrate immediate value by showing our voice agent working on their actual website within minutes.

Credit and Cost Management

Working with limited API credits from services like ElevenLabs and Firecrawl meant we had to optimize every interaction. The cost of failure was high, so we had to be strategic about testing and demonstrations.

Knowledge Base Extraction

Creating a deep, accurate extraction system for website knowledge bases proved complex. We needed to understand not just what was on the website, but the context and relationships between different pieces of information.

Conversion-Optimized Prompting

Developing prompts that actually convert visitors into customers required extensive testing and refinement. The AI needed to understand sales psychology and guide conversations toward purchasing decisions naturally.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • 5-Minute Setup: We achieved our goal of creating a working prototype that can be previewed on any client's website within just 5 minutes
  • Real-time Demonstration: Successfully built a system that shows immediate value to prospects
  • Reduced Sales Cycle: Decreased the time from initial contact to proof-of-concept from months to minutes
