The churning out of customers from Vodafone.

What it does

Adds a voice functionality to the app which is handled from backend, hence can add features in response without any necessity of frontend app changes.

How we built it

We created our Speech to Text functionality to get users input and with different confidence values pass these values to our DialogFlow model which was trained for variety of intents (Eg. Balance Enquiry, Internet Balance, Current Plan, Vodafone Customer Care Number, New Offers, Customized Offers). This complete dialog flow is connected to our backend which sends the response based on different intent and category by getting data from mongo.

Challenges we ran into

Initially we started with keyword search for our speech model but with the help of our mentors we were able to improve it with dialogflow.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to successfully implement the dialogflow and the frontend independence in the app.

What we learned

We learned the usage of dialogflow, also tried some AR stuff in free time.

What's next for Vodafone

Vodafone needs to grasp the point where people are slowly getting bored of JIO and improve its user base.
