Problems- Inspiration My close friend who studies at Devnar School, which is a special school for blind students that provides special treatment ,care and different educational strategies in order to help the visually impaired students. Yes, my friend has been dealing with vision loss since his childhood. Unlike other students ,my friend is also strong in some subjects and weak in some too, like his favourite subject is Science, very proficient in foreign languages-French and Germany, but he is a little bit weak in maths due to all the calculation and stuff. The thing is ,he is also a normal student who has some weak and strong areas, but people around him always treated him as a special child who needs special treatment, care just because he is blind. Unlike his other companions he was never allowed to use mobile phones because his family thought that he needed a special mobile (just like a special school) which was out of their budget and not at all fancy to use. This small story inspired our team to create an application specially for the visually challenged people out there.

Solution- We have set out to make it so that blind students will never face this again Calculator seems to be a simple device which indeed it is but there are still some people who cannot access it due to lack of sight .Voco calc is a user friendly platform which allow user to perform arithmetic and scientific calculation through voice .Itl provide operation such as Addition,multiply,subtraction,sin,cos,tan,log,decimal,square root,power.Voco calc is a little incentive towards a greater change for helping people and encouraging millions of little minds to unfurl their wings of success instead of depriving their basic rights and respect.

Apart from being an educational app Voco calci is A cool secret hiding spot to save all your documents. It ensures total security of your data ,media and files and acts as a secret storage unit in your phone which everyone needs. .

It is an all in one app which gives you full command over your phone and makes your life easy and joyous.It connects to the camera ,calendar ,alarm and settings of the phone .All you need is to download the app , set a password and let the voice take your command.

How we built it -We built it using Android Studio and java,

Challenges we ran into Codes ,voice recognition. Actually We started with a team of 4 members but unfortunately 2 of us left due to some reason. It was pretty hard for the remaining two of us divide time for preparing the code, slides, pitch deck and demo video.

Accomplishments that we're proud of- We were just two of us but still we Completed the basic app in 24 hours

What we learned- To work under pressure and understanding how the codes under any application works What's next for Voco Calci - To improve the features like ,adding databases google cloud storage ,improvising the voice system and also adding google firewall for better security.
