Heart disease, the silent killer, leads to about 610,000 deaths per year in the United States alone. Because heart disease is often difficult to diagnose, prevention is the best cure.

What it does

Vivality combines 2 ends of the healthcare field: on one side, it allows for the agglomeration of health care data, streamlining the process of taking paper health care records to EHRs, a big challenge in rural areas. On the other side, Vivality integrates 5 different sources of data: genetic, imaging, clinical, experiential, and longitudinal health data to accurate make health disease prognoses. Combining computer vision Faster R-CNN via visible light and sonogram imaging, with genetic markers and health history, Vivality allows for rapid and highly-precise heart disease risk prognosis.
