Inspiration

As a team of Las Vegas residents, one problem we all agreed on was not knowing what to do in town. This was our inspiration for Viva Las Venture.

What it does

After reaching the landing page and getting displaying what it can do, it prompts a signup/login system to authenticate who you are. Once you sign up, you are able to pick between talking with an AI chatbot for tourism recommendations or immediately setting up the calendar. The builder for the itinerary provides pre-given events pulled from Ticketmaster, and you have the choice to make your own custom events. It will automatically sort the events and place them in the calendar where it can be saved for future editing, or to be exported.

How we built it

Viva Las Venture was built using React, Node.js, Javascript, Firebase, and featherlessai.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge we ran into was adding the agentic ai feature. This was our main challenge during our project.

An accomplishment that we’re proud of is adding agentic ai to the website.

What we learned

We learned how to effectively use git as a team to utilize version control, how to properly secure api keys and use them.

What's next for Viva Las Ventures

Possible deployment and additional website features are next for Viva Las Ventures.
