The team recognized the potential of blockchain technology to revolutionize this industry and provide a comprehensive solution to these challenges. Thus, Vitran was created as a cutting-edge supply chain management system that leverages the power of blockchain technology and the 5ire ecosystem to provide a secure, efficient, and transparent solution.

What it does

Vitran is a comprehensive supply chain management system that allows manufacturers and distributors to register their products on the blockchain and track them throughout the supply chain. With Vitran, manufacturers and distributors can easily add new products to the system by providing basic information about the product, including its unique ID and geolocation.

Once a product has been registered, it can be tracked as it moves through the supply chain. Each time the product changes hands, the new owner updates its status in the Vitran system, allowing everyone involved in the supply chain to see where the product is at any given time. This information is stored on the Ethereum blockchain, ensuring that it is secure and transparent.

Vitran also allows users to update information about a product, such as its location or status, in real-time. This helps to reduce errors and delays in the supply chain and ensures that everyone involved in the process has access to the most up-to-date information.
