With backgrounds in neuroscience, psychiatry, and engineering, we wanted to tackle a major global challenge in mental health which is real-time care for anxiety and panic disorder. The present invention pertains to a glasses-based wearable system enabling real-time closed-loop regulation of brain-body states. The system integrates multimodal neural and physiological sensing with bilateral auricular nerve stimulation and guided mental grounding through bone conductance to alleviate anxious and ruminative states. The system is paired with an interactive digital application for long-term tracking of neural and physiological metrics.
