Inspiration

We thought about what is happening now at works, since Covid - 19, many works, implemented the modality online to work, and after Covid - 19 ended, it was by then so comfort that I stayed. But with it came so many other factors, one of them that is very important is the health of the workers, because, any of them has to save their image, so they do not protect themselves and most importantly, they do not take care of themselves, with affects many areas, impacting the quality of work, their lives and also their role in the society.

What it does

What we did was an app focused on the online-tech-employees of Softtek, here, the employees have to access their camera and we will do an analysis of their faces, so we can now know if they are passing through so much stress, or if they are not sleeping well, etc. With this information, we can prevent many things related to health, and event can prevent dead alarms. Inside the app, will be the hole report of what is the model analyzing and having, so the employee can also know, and the admins will be able to also look at all the employees' reports and analysis.

How we built it

First, we enlist our necessities, an app, a model, a database, and then we defined where to develop each one of them, and the most important and difficult thing, how to bring it all together and make it work at the same time. And also, we defined what tasks does everyone of us had to do.

Challenges we ran into

Most of the problem was combining all the technologies, because we did not knew how to do some of the things, and also, we did not knew how to solve many errors that emerged throughout the process.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having an organized agenda, also knowing how to distribute the necessary tasks between all of us, taking in consideration what each one of us know and also being where we can learn about new topics, honestly, we are really proud of our work and of ourselves.

What we learned

We learned a lot about being a team, collaborating makes things be better. Also we learned a lot about new technologies such as Yolo, and some of the members, to code using the framework React.

What's next for VitalScan

This is the first demo of VitalScan, it still has a long way to go. But talking about new features, we will implement personalized tips depending on the results of the analysis and predictions; as well as having different filters in the Admin Home, in order to search up different employees more easily (such as date, level of completion and warnings).
