The problem your project solves
The idea was born to be able to monitor patients in the field hospital in Ifema (Madrid). The lack of resources and medical devices led us to design this system.
The solution you bring to the table
Painless, non-invasive, open hardware and software device for hospital fields, capable of transmitting a signal to a server so that the health workers can telematically control pulsations and temperature. It is able to reduce risk by 60%.
We designed the system to be resilient. It can use different radio systems and can be used with custom probes or with existent medical devices through its RS232, USB or Bluetooth interfaces.
It can support more than 2000 patients concurrently.
What you have done during the weekend
We have finished a special edition Hackaton PCB. Finish documentation. Finish prototipe server.
The solution’s impact to the crisis
Contribute to improving the quality of work of health personnel, reducing the probability of contagion and / or transmission of diseases, as well as improving patient protection.
The necessities in order to continue the project
We need financing to build 100 units and perform the homologation process.
The value of your solution(s) after the crisis
Development and innovation (R&D) in open – source technology for medical equipment, contributing to improving the health of doctors and patients all over the world. Including countries with limited resources.
