Inspiration

Market research showed us telehealth is a rapidly growing market, so we looked at solutions like Telus Health MyCare and Lumino. We also looked at how Apple Health integrates with other apps, and the community aspect of subreddits.

What it does

App that lets people book specialists at hospitals and clinics and instantly view their results once available. Allows users to act on them, giving tips and smartly suggesting follow-ups. Users can view discussion forums ("Support Hub") on their condition & view benefits gained from health insurance. Integrates with Apple Watch to provide even richer health insights with a dynamically rotating stack of "cards", showing relevant info.

How we built it

All in Figma (including graphics and slides + prototyping)

Challenges we ran into

Our idea was basically what Lumino by Sun Life already is initially, and many other options felt too generic or also were already done. We also felt there wasn't enough time as the challenge took place during midterm season.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We like the nice graphics and use of liquid glass in Figma was fun to implement

What we learned

To start working on this in the background sooner! Research is important as had we looked at competitors sooner, we wouldn't have spent as long on our original idea as we did. It would have also been nice to hone in on one specific standout feature and be less broad.
