We were annoyed by the superficiality of dating apps (and life in general), so we decided to change this with our new idea... Introducing: Dating App: The Third Wheel Premise: The Third Wheel is a dating app focusing on an unconventional approach to meeting other individuals. The Third Wheel uses AI matching technology to match anonymous users with each other with vastly different interests, backgrounds, and religious beliefs, seeking to build understanding, empathy, and (hopefully) romance between individuals who would usually never even say hello to each other on the street! As an added bonus feature, don’t worry if you’re a sigma! Don’t worry if you’re an introvert! We got just the thing for you. Our namesake, the third wheel, is reflected in a feature where you can sign up to be a secret observer. You can listen in on someone else’s date, provide feedback to our AI machine, and help us match the two better! If you think you would be a better match than their current date, send us a request! Our AI will check it out and (maybe) give you a shot at romance, allowing you to end your third-wheeldom and have your time in the sun! All user profiles are anonymous to other users, to avoid users trying to select their soulmate themselves and trying to see those oh so hot profile pics of their date before the specified meet time! We may add video capability in the future, but for now, the chat feature will suffice to allow matched anonymous users to agree on a time to meet! Don’t cheat! The anonymity is a feature, not a problem… Specifications and features: UI: The user interface design goal is a blind-dating site featuring login capability, user profile information, and chat features/maybe future omegle-like zoom functionality. Individual user profiles: only visible to the user themselves, these function only to allow the AI to match you better with others who have uniquely different interests than you! Chat Feature: This chat feature, where AI forcibly blurs out names, instagram handles, and other identifying information, allows complete anonymity and encourages users to try to come into their in-person scheduled coffee-chat style dates completely blind instead of with preconceived notions. This provides everyone with an equal chance to impress, and removes handicaps such as your physical appearance or height, at least from the initial part of the equation. Send flowers: If you liked a date, and they like you back, send flowers! Otherwise, feel free to text them excessively without reply on our chat feature, which will remain open for you to contact them after your first date. However, be warned that an excessive amount of lovey dovey texting without reciprocation may lead to you being softbanned as a "simp" and the app autodirecting you to an anime website.
