We made this project as our first hackathon. This project is a one-stop solution for all students and faculties of VIT Bhopal. It is a fully functioning app that not only tells a student’s attendance but also displays his time-table. It also helps the faculties to mark attendance and to view their own profile. This is an app-based project which is based on flutter and dart language.
One of the main challenges we faced during the hackathon was the time limit of 70 hours. The whole process of building the project was quite intimidating as beginners. I am still proud of what we achieved as a team of beginners in these 3 days. Throughout the hackathon we were constantly learning new things.
One of the main things we learned as a team was time-management and patience required to make an app. We want to add more features to our project so that VIT Bhopal can use our app as an alternative to their website student portal VTOP.
