Inspiration

Making a video ad still means juggling five disconnected tools and never knowing what it actually cost until the invoice lands.

What it does

Drop in a topic or transcript and VisualLabs drafts a structured ad, generates the images and video live, tracks cost per draft, and ships it to Slack for approval — all in one pipeline.

How we built it

A fine-tuned Pioneer model drafts the ad behind a TrueFoundry gateway, Replicate and Fal handle image and video gen, ClickHouse logs every cost, OpenUI renders the storyboard, and Composio closes the loop.

Challenges we ran into

Keeping live image gen fast while async video rendering ran in the background — and making the whole pipeline read as load-bearing, not a cool video toy with sponsors bolted on.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One governed production line that's fully instrumented end to end, with a tuned model that's measurably cheaper and better than the base.

What we learned

The real win isn't any single model — it's wiring drafting, rendering, costing, and publishing into one observable pipeline you can actually measure.

What's next for VisualLabs

More ad formats, longer multi-clip videos, and closing the loop so the model keeps fine-tuning on our own traffic automatically.
