Make customer experience better during in-flight journey

What it does

A novel way to connect users within the flight over intranet and facilitate them with certain services like cab sharing, seat exchange or even starting an in-flight group chat. We have also implemented ways to make passenger experience better by providing entertainment via VR technology.

How we built it

On the back-end side(webserver), php and MySQL is used while on the front end, android is used to create an application to handle the above mentioned features.

Challenges we ran into

Implementation of the VR was definitely a big challenge. Implementation of other modules that were planned was restricted by the limitation of time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A good amount of time was spent to understand and design a novel way to solve the common problems faced by passengers.It is our understanding that the project not only catered to the need of improving customer experience, but has a good amount of impact on revenue as well.
