Visma set a chatbot as a challenge. It looked fun, so we went ahead and tried.
What it does
It manages a calendar, tells you when events are, adds events to your calendar, responds to questions about the company, operates smoothly on both Slack and Google Assistant, can manage small talk, and does this all with natural language capabilities. On top of this, a website is in place for events to be added and frequently asked questions to be created.
How we built it
Challenges we ran into
Not everyone being together due to covid-19 clearly made things harder. Also, never having used these APIs before meant a lot of time was spent "reading" documentation (no one got distracted).
