ELEVATE-SDE-Task-4
Inspiration
The motivation behind this project was to strengthen my software development skills by working on a practical engineering task. I wanted to apply my existing programming knowledge, improve my problem-solving abilities, and gain hands-on experience building software in a structured development workflow.
What It Does
ELEVATE-SDE-Task-4 represents my work on a software development task focused on applying programming concepts to solve a defined problem. The goal was to translate requirements into a working implementation while keeping the code organized, readable, and maintainable.
How I Built It
I approached the task by breaking the problem into smaller steps, understanding the requirements, implementing the solution, and testing the behavior against expected outputs.
I used Git and GitHub to manage the project and track code changes. I also worked through implementation issues by debugging the code, checking edge cases, and refining the solution as needed.
Challenges I Faced
One of the main challenges was translating the task requirements into a correct and reliable implementation. Debugging unexpected behavior and ensuring the solution handled different test cases required careful analysis and iterative testing.
Working through these challenges helped me develop a more systematic approach to software development instead of relying only on an initial implementation.
What I Learned
Through this task, I strengthened my understanding of problem-solving, debugging, testing, code organization, and version control. I also learned the importance of considering edge cases and validating a solution before treating it as complete.
What's Next
I plan to continue improving the project by refining code quality, adding meaningful tests where appropriate, and documenting the implementation so that other developers can understand and reproduce the work.
