Inspiration
VVA Volunteers & Participants, pain points #1: lack of database system to manage personal information.
What it does
Database & Clear Visualization to ALL stakeholders in the organization. The interface also illustrate a hierarchical structure between stakeholders which allow certain groups to access specific data due to privacy limitations.
How we built it
Ideation & brainstorm with mentor, discussion with board fellow to sharpen problem statement. Through Figma & teamwork, designed friendly and logical user interface.
Challenges we ran into
Sorting out logical relationship between stakeholders within the organization; through ideation, identifying demand from the organization; elaborate proposed solutions to future possible strategies.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Clear logic & friendly interface that not only solves the current pain point, but also offers the design solution for future projects when the organization scales up their operations.
What we learned
Learned more about the marginalized de facto orphan communities, our project group developed a shared empathetic approach toward the interface design. In addition, we learned how to evaluate the problem with the top down method.
What's next for Vision Volunteer Alliance - Volunteer & Participant Database
Based on the proposed design, Vision Volunteer Alliance should finish the full stack development. Once scaling up the operations after partnership with local communities, utilize the school tab to categorize each partner location's project.
