It's the most wonderful time of the year to be in e-commerce. Consumers are forecasted to spend a total of a trillion dollars on e-commerce by the year’s end — a 17.9 percent increase from 2020, representing over 15 percent of total retail sales. Whether it’s fear of the Omicron variant or the allure of free shipping that’s behind the imbalance, the takeaway is clear: opportunity is online. In order to capitalize on some of that opportunity this holiday season, Visibuy is making sure video plays a central role in our digital strategy.

When it comes to e-commerce, there’s no better way to put a product’s best foot forward than with product demo videos. Also, people love to learn, and what better subject of study than a “How to” videos for a product?

What it does

Visibuy uses asynchronous video tech to highlight key features, benefits, and even technical components to potential buyers with a demo video. It is a solution that can be used to convince customers to buy a product after watching a demo video.

How we built it

The solution and applications are built using loom record and embed SDKs, frontend single page application, cloud platform, and postgresql

That there are various asynchronous video use cases different from the live streaming or synchronous use cases.
