Inspiration

Ever tried searching government websites for travel visa information? Yeah, us too. It's not easy. That's why we created VisaFinder. VisaFinder consolidates visa information for travellers, so you can find everything you need to know to obtain a visa for your next trip.

What it does

How we built it

We use HTML5, CSS, Angularjs for the front end. We use Nodejs for the backend host and communication with MySQL. We deploy it on the Google App Engine.

Challenges we ran into

Git, merge code, missed changes

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a working web-app in less than 24 hours. The product we built will also be very helpful to travellers.

What we learned

We learned how to plan project from an idea, choose our technology stack, and execute on that idea. We also used unfamiliar technologies to break out of our comfort zone.
