My friend was coming to visit me in Canada from the UK. After many months of preparation and anticipation, he was about to hop on the plane when they said, "where's your visa?" He replied, huh? And so he missed the flight. Turned out with a UK passport you need a visa even for a stop over in the USA.
This Visa Assistant is a fun and easy way to check what Visa requirements you need to go anywhere in the world.
The PartyRock program I was able to enter in my prompts and reformat the program to output organized information. Honestly an amazing program.
A large challenge was sometime the information being output was not accurate. For example traveling under 90 days from certain countries to the USA do not require a visa, however the AI was evaluating as if it was a long trip and did require a Visa. Additionally sometimes the information would be overwhelming and unorganized.
Eventually after enough trial and error the LLM started including more accurate information. Additionally the way it would organize the output would be much easier to read than previously.
The more relevant information the user inputs, the easier to process and understand the data on both the user and AI side. Also I learnt about prompt engineering, this information helped create better outputs as well.
I would love for the program to be able to do part of the visa application process to fully guide the user in a simplified way. What a lifesaver that would be.
