Inspiration
We wanted to build something around the idea of making benefit cards easier and more useful for people. While working on the project, we focused on a simple question: how can we make it easier for users to understand and use their available benefits without making the process complicated?
What We Built
We built a Visa Benefit Card System that allows users to manage and use their benefits through a simple interface. The system focuses on checking benefit availability, handling transactions, and making sure that only valid transactions are processed.
How We Built It
We first designed the basic user flow and then divided the project into smaller parts. We worked on the frontend, connected it with the backend logic, and added the required validation for transactions. We tested the system with different cases to make sure that incorrect or invalid transactions were handled properly.
Challenges We Faced
The biggest challenge was making sure that transactions were processed accurately while handling different conditions such as available benefits, invalid transactions, and user validation. At first, some edge cases were difficult to handle, so we tested each part separately and improved the validation logic.
What We Learned
This project helped us understand that building a working system is not only about writing code. We also had to think about the user flow, validation, security, and what could go wrong in real situations. It also gave us experience in connecting different parts of a project and debugging problems as a team.
What's Next
We would like to improve the system further by adding better analytics, more personalized benefits, stronger security, and a smoother user experience.
