Joe thought of the idea while we were sitting outside the dining hall. We decided it was out of the box and decided to take on the challenge.
What it does
It allows people without limbs or have difficulty walking to be able to walk around in a virtual environment.
How I built it
We used Unity, a 3D game engine.
Challenges I ran into
Lots of glitches and short amount of time.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I'm proud of both Joe and I for finishing our first hackathon on time.
What I learned
Time is a virtue and you must work as a team.
What's next for VirtuWalk
We don't know at the moment but we are thinking of continuing the project and possibly taking it to market.
