Inspiration
This web application main inspiration is to provide virtual celebration to everyone and sing and organize music parties online to throw away boredom and enjoy happy moments.
What it does
Host can create a room and invite people to that room by sending code and host can play songs and people of that room can listen to that music and vote for their favourite music so that host can change music time to time based on votes.
How we built it
I used react for UI, Django, Django restframework for backend, sqllite database. Spotify api for music.
Challenges we ran into
To create rooms and calculate votes and playing songs based on that and do this in given time.

What we learned
Learned Djangorest framework and embedding apis and also building full stack web application using react and django.
What's next for VirtualParty
I want to enable video sharing and theme change features to this app in future.
