Inspiration
Remote working is the new normal arises due to the outbreak of Covid-19. Employees are asked/ can choose to work from home or working in office in shifts.
Although there are a number of tools facilitating remote working, there is one major problem that hasn't been tackle - the reduction of causal chats between employees. Causal chats in office are important for information exchange and help people to build up rapport and relationship. However, it is hard to reproduce the same environment online.
In light of this, I would like to build a "Virtual Office", for employees to socialise after work.

Challenges I ran into
At the beginning, I was planning to make a Discord bot. I don't have much experience with Python and I haven't made a Discord bot before. I spent a lot of time learning Python and how to make a Discord bot, and debugging. However, I was unable to make it work near to the submission deadline. Therefore, I switched to making a simple web app with chatbot using dialogflow.

I learnt a lot about Python and building Discord bot.
