Inspiration
Live shopping is projected to hit $55 billion by 2026 in the US. Buyers want to buy from someone relatable. Our avatars give e-commerce businesses that capability.
What it does
Creates an interactive avatar salesperson based on your choice of real-world persona.
How we built it
Developed on Windsurf. Using Apify to scrape the client website, Google Vertex to parse the content, and Tavis to create and display the avatar, hosted on Render. Due to today's time constraints, we used a stock avatar, but the customer can choose their own.
Challenges we ran into
Wi-Fi slowed us down. Dev Ops snafus on my laptop.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Good teamwork, and executing a genuinely new (to us) concept in the space of one afternoon.
What we learned
So many new technologies to play with.
What's next for Virtually Irresistible
A short drive up to Sand Hill Road.
