Virtual Shopper is a computer game that mimics the interactions found while shopping at a local grocery store. The main goal is to teach the user not only about healthy eating habits but how to eat healthily while making delicious food that is within preset budget (usually an impressive $10.00 for a meal for a family of four). The phrase we coined for this multilateral goal is - "teaching the user how to stretch their nutritional dollar".
This simulation (or game for short hand) was created in a very popular computer game engine from scratch. All functionality or artwork was done by our team for this project alone. Children familiar with games for computers or video game consoles will be very familiar with the layout and controls to play the game.
All other information such as how to install the game, how to play, or credits can be found at the link below which also has access to the executable file to install the game.
