Inspiration
We wanted an affordable device that could enhance the user's immersion in virtual reality, specifically wanting to add a sense of touch.
What it does
A combination of flex sensors, heat pads and other hardware with a streaming over spi and wifi it serves as a low cost vr glove prototype .
How we built it
Challenges we ran into
Forgetting the wall adapter for the Vive base station so we had to make our own. Difficulty calibrating the headset after starting it. Had to do virtually all of the programming from the ground up.
