What it does

It takes your pulse, detects your mood, and changes the color of a fancy 3d heart based on that.

Challenges we ran into

When we were trying to put our bluetooth chip through a manual hardware reset, we misunderstood some basic terminology and spent an hour trying to digitally write "0" to a pin when we were simply supposed to connect the pin to ground. Never again.

I contributed to the Android client, getting Google Cardboard SDK, OpenGL, and the Bluetooth receiver to work. I also tried out 3D modelling for the first time by creating our heart in Blender.

I primarily worked on using Google Cardboard SDK and OpenGL to create the visualization of heart beats. I learned about how to create animation using OpenGL and compared its compatibility and efficiency with Unity.
