Inspiration We wanted to help nurses and patients by offering quick, reliable support for symptoms, medication reminders, and appointments—reducing stress and improving access.
What it does Our Virtual Nursing Assistant lets users report symptoms, book appointments, set medication reminders, and get health answers all in one easy-to-use app.
How we built it We used React.js and TypeScript for the frontend; Express.js for the backend. OpenAI powers our smart replies. Features are modular, with secure API handling and clear design.
Challenges we ran into Keeping health data secure, integrating OpenAI, and making the UX simple for all users were tough but important challenges.
Accomplishments that we're proud of We built a working, user-friendly, and modular healthcare app with real symptom tracking and AI-powered support.
What we learned We learned the value of teamwork, security, and user-focused design, and how AI can enhance digital healthcare.
What's next for Virtual Nursing Assistant We plan to add live chat, voice support, health risk predictions, and clinic testing to expand patient care even further.
